Oops

You asked for more leg shots.

I weighed today and checked my body fat. I’m down to 297.8 pounds and 26.4% body fat. Overall I’ve gone down nearly 8 percentage points since moving home, lost about 30 pounds over all. If you do the calculations I’ve also lost nearly 35 pounds of fat. Not bad.

I added a little bit of cardio into my workout, about three times a week. I just ride the exercise bike for about 10 minutes, not much, but I can definitely tell it’s helping. My mom remarked that she could tell I’ve lost weight in my face since my last trip to Austin. Always feels good to get compliments. Even if they’re semi-gay, like this one…

My Humanities teacher was in the Weight room last week and he was like, “Hey Boone, looks like you’ve lost a few pounds since class. Man! You’ve got some guns too!”

The only drawback to all this working out I can see so far? The freaking stretch marks on my shoulders and biceps. Whatevs. You win some, you lose some.

March

The actual shot I meant to take.

That’s awesome. And stretch marks, eh…they happen. When I lost a lot of weight last year, I found I was plagued with them on my legs (cause women get them there when they gain weight. ugh). but when summer comes and you get a little bit tan — you definitely see them less!

Dude! That’s awesome! I don’t know if it would work but maybe get some vitamin E cream for the stretch marks, that’s what the pregnant ladies use…so it couldn’t hurt, worst thing that would happen is you’d have incredibly soft shoulders and biceps!

George, you look amazing! Don’t worry about the stretch marks but DO tackle them straight away. In Europe we have a product called Bio Oil which helps repair them - it’s a mix of Vitamin A & E, calendula & others.

Coconut butter on those stretch marks!! It takes them away, and you’ll smell delicious. It’s what the preggos use.

Wait, wait…COCOA butter. Not coconut. I’m making no sense here.

    George,

Again, I only know you through this site (from perusing dooce.com), but I wanted to let you know that I am proud of all the work you describe doing.

    Keep it up.

Yes Cocoa Butter lotion or cream, cream is better though, more natural and usually made from the plant instead of a bunch of stuff from different stuff that are also in the plant.

it might sound gay, but coconut oil on the stretch marks helps while loosing weight…drink mucho water. build muscle and it will be reduced.
