I really can’t sleep, figured I’d put some thoughts on paper… er, blog.
I really don’t have much to watch on TV without basketball, after the draft Thursday night I only have preseason to look forward to. The withdraws are so bad I’ve actually been dreaming about basketball. In one I hit the game winning shot for UK. In another I was in an rec league and we won the championship.
I’ve been hanging out with my friend Cami (who happens to be Eli’s (my BFF from Texas) little sister) a lot recently. She’s down in St. George doing a photoshoot for the Morms for a whole week and I really don’t have anyone else to hang out with in SLC. I’m looking forward to a long week of old skool XBOX.
One reason why I probably can’t sleep? Deciding to chug that diet coke at 10:30. Caffeine is finally starting to affect me. Put that with the fact that I now nap every day and my hair is frotastic… I’m turning into my mother.
My friend is coming out to visit me in 15 days and I’m pumped. You probably wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at me though, I apparently put out a grumpy demeanor. You know what I have to say to that? Blow me.
You know a good band you should check out? Besides Panic! At The Disco… (Guilty pleasure? Yes please.) The Slip. I found out about them through the original Guitar Hero. Their album Eisenhower is a really well put together album. Some of the guitar rifts make me feel like I’m floating while driving my truck with the windows down. One good sleepytime listen would have to be “Suffocation Keep”. But don’t take my word for it, I actually enjoy listening to Fall Out Boy.
My keyboard and mouse are both low on batteries but I’m too lazy to change them. Sometimes when I hit backspace or click my mouse it doesn’t stop. Would be convenient if I actually wanted to erase this whole post right now. Silly Logitech.
I really wish I would have signed up for this realworldcasting.com thing. I think that I would really be able to bring something to the table. MTV needs to show more love to big people. Yea, you have Rob and Big, one show in the history of televison. Get serious MTV.
I’m going home for my friend Trevon’s wedding in August, you know what they’re service and the wedding? CANDY. Yea, I really want to be standing around for three hours and only have candy and water with lemons to hold me over. Real cool. You may be saying, why don’t you just leave early? Well, I’m in the wedding. Oh yea, Trevon is wearing a kilt in the wedding too. Not because he has a strong scottish heritage or anything… No. He went on his MISSION to Scotland. He still says “flat” instead of apartment, and “cheers mate” instead of goodbye. Did I mention he got home LAST OCTOBER? Trevon just does what he wants. We actually had a conversation about this when I hung out at his place this past spring.
Random guy in apartment: Today at church he kept using words like “flat” and “mate”.
GEORGE!: Yea I know, he’s weird.
Trevon: That’s what I love about GEORGE!, he accepts me for who I am.
GEORGE!: Because I already know you’re a douchebag.

I happen to love your taste in music. If it wasn’t for you, I still wouldn’t know who Something Corporate was.
We have been using Guitar Hero II to educate our 20-something neighbor on 80’s and 90’s music.
