Tonight is the last night Andrew will live in Utah. It hadn’t really hit me we wouldn’t be living together anymore until today. We’ve been through a lot together. We’ve had the roommate fights, we’ve watched sports together (he even got me to somewhat enjoy baseball again) and we have played countless rounds of Super Mario Brothers, Halo 2, and Fuzion Frenzy together.
It’s just not going to be the same without him, not being able to see him wearing the same pair of Converse All-stars every day. Or having comfy time together in the living room while watching football on Sunday mornings. Ordering sandwiches and wishing the delivery guy would hurry the hell up and get to our apartment. Watching a Laker game and not having him around to yell at the TV just isn’t going to be the same anymore.
Hopefully one day we can all meet up and get together like old times, maybe you can tell us how awesome engineering is and we can all laugh at you. I’m pretty sure I’ll never be able to crack open a package of ramen noodles and not think of you.
Good luck in California.

what an awesome post about your friend…. bonding over fights and mario bros, those are true tests of friendships and other relationships.
i also believe that you really never know a person until you’ve played a full round of monopoly with them. it brings out all the nooks and crannies in a person.
your cool points have just gone up another bazillion points.
