I’ve always liked Alan Jackson.  His new album is actually pretty good, I first just downloaded it to send to my dad, but decided to give it a listen… It’s good.

It’s no Chattahoochee… but it’s good.

If you’re talking about _Precious Memories_, yeah, I’d say it’s good.
The hymns are some of my family’s old favorites, and the instruments are quite appropriate and subtle.
Blessed Assurance was my dad’s favorite hymn, and Softly and Tenderly was the altar call when I got baptized.
I gave my mom a CD, and she plays it all. the. time. which is sending my sister to the looney house. One sweet side effect.

george, we can’t be friends anymore. Alan Jackson? Seriously?

    I’m just kidding.

I’ve been to the Chatahoochee… it’s a dumpy little river.

Nothing like the Chattahoochee, but then I live close to it. Alan Jackson is pretty good too.
