Goodbyes are really REALLY REALLY REALLY! hard for me to do.
Holding Maci and saying bye to Robert and Tiffany for the last time for the next four months or so was really hard tonight.
My Euro-trash haircut and I spending time with Maci.

Hi! I found your blog through Heather’s. I just wanted to say that I feel your pain. I had to say good-bye to my brother, sister-in-law, nephews, and niece (She’s about the same age as your Maci) for four months, too. It was nearly a week ago, and it still hurts. But that’s why Al Gore invented the internet; with instant messaging and e-mails and webcams, it’s easy to pretend that he’s not a thousand miles away.

aww sad…..you know what i’ve realized in my life of endless moving? That saying of “sometimes you’d rather never say hello than have to say good-bye.” it’s all too true…..

I came via Heather’s blog also. My daughter chose to matriculate at college in Southern California. It’s a long way from Chicago. Graduated, she chose to remain in Southern California. I miss her a lot, but our “hellos” are very sweet.
Your “hellos” will be sweet too.
