Natasha Bedingfield - These Words
Last Heard: Last night while “bowling” the term bowling is used loosely because we actually never bowled. We sat around waiting for 2 hours while our name was never called because every douche face who goes to UNT was at the bowling alley for $1 dolla make you holla night.
Last Discussed: With Caroline last night on aol. Conversation went something a little like this.
Me: You know what I love?
Caroline: Besides flocking vagina?
Me: Of course, These Words by Natasha Bedingfield. It just makes me happy.
Caroline: How are there not girls all over you 24-7? You’re a giant teddy bear.
*conversation may or may not have been changed.

It’s reassuring to know that I’m not the only guy that likes that song. Was it a freebie on iTunes at some point? I don’t know how else I would have come across it.

Dear God, I love that song too, and I typically hate that kind of stuff. I first saw the video on VH1 one morning before work.
I was halfway through listening to it one morning, and that afternoon, when a colleague and I were carpooling to soccer, I turned the car over and “These Words” came blasting over my radio.
Since then, he refers to me as “Mangina.”

the first time i heard that song was at least a year ago…you know, back in My Country. The song was great, the video was fantastic, and her older brother (Daniel Bedingfield) is also a great singer. She didn’t release in USA till this year…..ah….. Have you heard of Robbie Williams? he is a freaking GOD…

daiixi - yeah i found out about Robbie’s USA habits a while back….he mentioned how he loves that he can roam the streets freely and not be mobbed because his music isn’t released here and he doesn’t want to release it here. Man i’d KILL to go to one of his shows….how much do the tix run, anyhow?

HEY! So I was in France over Christmas last year, and this song was all over their MTV, and I was all, who is this cute girl who looks like Pink only so much more femenine? And then one day it was on the radio here and then it was MY SONG. Anyway, no point to this really except to say I found you by way of Dooce, and now after this post you are my friend. So there.

Have that song on the Ipod and burnt to a cd for the car. Always makes me smile when I am stuck in traffic.
And why aren’t girls lining up for you? Geez we are stupid.
