I figured I’d go ahead and point out I do actually do other things that watch sports and play Xbox.
Friday Night: We (Peter, Jordan, Adam and I) went out to eat at Friday’s… Let me just go ahead and let everyone know how I feel about Friday’s. Overall, I really do not like the place. When you go to the particular Friday’s we went to, you always notice one thing right off. There is always about 8 waiters/waitresses working, and about 6 tables full. ALWAYS. Especially this Friday night. Obviously, no wait to be seated, we order our drinks (I get a strawberry lemonade, which apparently costs a dollar more to make than a regular fountain drink, because they have to go to the bar and mix some strawberry puree in some lemonade, real difficult. Oh BTW, no free refills… Bitches) I order the three dips appetizer, which apparently the three dips are some left over “enchilada sauce” which is more like some cheese mixed with a can of 99 cent chili, some melted cheese mixed with cilantro which is supposed to pass as queso, and some really crappy salsa they apparently bought at wal*mart on sale… Five months ago. The highlight was the crappy red and white chips.
My entree wasn’t any better, anytime I say “I could make pasta better than this at home.” It’s a bad sign, cause I’m really not a magician when it comes to pasta. The only good thing Friday’s has is desserts, but I didn’t get one this time because we were in a hurry to go to a movie, 40 minutes quickly turned into over an hour while we were waiting for our waitress to come back and get out debit cards to pay. Apparently she had to get a beer from the bar and take it back to the table… and take 20 minutes doing it. I wouldn’t have a problem with never going back to Friday’s again… Chili’s is better, and you get free refills on chips and Strawberry Lemonade. (Yea I drink fruity drinks, so what? You want to fight about it?)
Anyway after Friday’s ruined my perfectly good Friday (ironic?) we went to go see Saw 2. All I was really looking for in this movie was some closure… and I received none. Thank you for leaving the door open for a 3rd saw that I will probably go see because the movie industry is a bunch of smelly pirate hookers. I thought the 2nd was much better than the first, still some cheesy acting. Not near as bad as the first though. They kept Beverly Mitchell’s lines to a minimum, and I don’t have a problem with that. Overall it made me cringe multiple times and I even flipped off the screen once when that damn clown came on screen. I think they accomplished what they wanted.
Saturday Morning-Afternoon: Yea I watched football and ate wings with my dad and brother, so what?
Saturday Night: I went with a girl from work to see Elizabethtown. Overall I thought it was a good movie, it really made me think of my family. The house was eerily familiar to Granny Boone’s old house (always cooking, tons of old pictures, tons of family with their screaming kids). I really enjoyed the soundtrack of the movie, it was interesting because during nearly the entire movie, music was playing. Somewhat of a 2 hour and 15 minute music video.
Afterwards me and Christina went to Denny’s and just sat and talked for over an hour. She’s what some would call the shy girl at work, It would actually be better to call her the quiet girl. She’s may be a little shy, but we had great conversation the whole night. She is just very soft spoken and keeps to herself most of the time at work. She actually wore contacts tonight and I actually noticed just how beautiful her eyes really are. Overall a fun evening, and I’m glad I asked her out to the movies.
Sunday: I really haven’t done anything today besides watch football… what did you expect? It’s Sunday.
