1985? Kill me. I was in 8th grade freezing my ass of that January.
Damn I’m old.
My song was Sly and the Family Stone–family affair. Nov. 29, 1971.
“it’s a family afffaiiiiirrrr…..” Yea, that’s about all I remember from that song.

“Truly - Lionel Richie”
That’s just scary. I would much rather have “Like a Virgin.”

Holy Crap dude. You have no idea how old I feel right now. You young punk.
On a good note my song was Delta Dawn by Helen Reddy. That’s pretty awesome.
“Delta Dawn whut’s that flower you have on, could it be a faded rose from days gone byyyyyyy?”.

Mine is something called “Love’s Theme” by a band called Love Unlimited Orchestra.
Um, 1974 was a weird, weird year, apparently. Has anyone ever heard this song? (If my mom were still alive, I’d probably be able to call and ask her, and she’d start singing it to me, I’d bet. But she isn’t, so I can’t. Dammit.)
I checked to see if folks were cooler in Britain the day I was born, and I can’t really tell. They had a song called “Tiger Feet” by a band called Mud as their number 1 on the charts when I was born. WTF? (That’s a nifty little linky-poo, GEORGE! Thanks for the lunchtime fun…)
