You know what sucks? no really, do you?
It sucks when you turn on music on the computer and the previous person that used the computer had the speakers up WAY too loud, and it scares the crap out of you. This just happened to me, but the “scare the crap out of you” feeling was doubled because I played The Chemical Brothers to start out my listening experience, and that “Galvanize (Don’t Hold Back)” song starts out with some crazy ass loud noise that almost makes you crap your pants if its too loud.
Good thing it wasn’t THAT loud.
So tonight my friend/old roommate Josh got married. It was an interesting wedding. It was held at Maggiano’s in their party rooms in the back. Let me tell you they were ready for a party. DJ booth WITH strobe lights AND a disco ball. 2 necessary items for a sweet ass shindig. Plus the food was really delicious, and the amount they brought to each table could have fed a third world country.
Anyways, my brother Tim was in the wedding, it was short and sweet. Nothing too elaborate, just about 100 people there and an open bar. Needless to say the party was KICKIN! But we left after we had cake, so I didn’t break it down on the dance floor or anything. The girl I was sitting next to, Julia, was too chicken to go and dance with me in front of everyone. Plus I can’t just break it down to Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” in front of all these people I just met. I don’t want to make them feel bad about their lack of dancing skillz compared to me, cause I like to get down and party like it’s 1999. EVERY NIGHT!

I would have TOTALLY rocked with you on the dance floor! I seriously love Michael Jackson, I LOVE HIM. Go ahead, make your little jokes, but the man can JAM. That’s right, I said it, what? Your friend must have had a fly ass DJ to be hooking up that MJ.

I LOVE MJ TOO! His greatest hits cd is a must have. I would have broken out the best sprinkler Texas has ever seen on that damn dance floor, Spoony at my side, of course. I think he’s a little boy humper, sure, but his music is the bomb diggity. Prince, too. I’ve seen him in concert twice. One of my most favorite songs to sing BADLY in the car is “Do Me Baby” by the little P-Man. Try it GEORGE!
